Susan Schorr is a Managing Director of our Investigations division who brings over twenty years of legal, investigative, and social work experience to T&M USA. With over a decade in private practice as an employment and education attorney based in Boston, Massachusetts, Susan has a depth of experience conducting investigations into harassment and sexual misconduct involving students, faculty, and staff at all educational levels, from K-12 schools to institutions of higher education. Susan's investigative experience also covers workplace harassment and sexual harassment reports from line employees to those inhabiting the C-suite. Susan served as legal counsel to private schools, not for profits, and other institutions with a focus on drafting and reviewing policies and practices covering child abuse and neglect, bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, and boundaries. She has extensive experience conducting training for organizations involving these topics and has presented at conferences throughout the United States. Prior to becoming an attorney, Susan was a social worker with a focus on child welfare, working for county social service agencies in Oakland, San Francisco, and New York City as a program analyst and contract manager. She collaborated with clinical staff and external evaluators and helped to implement innovative foster care and other supportive services. Susan compliments T&M's mission to provide bespoke investigative and consulting services to our expanding client base of law firms, corporations, educational and cultural institutions, not-for-profit organizations and high net-worth individuals. Susan is also a member of our compliance team, providing oversight and guidance on industry best practices, business ethics, and proper internal policies and procedures necessary to mitigate risk. Licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine, Susan is well situated to expand T&M's presence in the New England Region.
Susan has a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University, a Master of Social Work - with an Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice - and a Masters of Public Administration from Columbia University, and a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.
