FBI Executive Joins T&M

T&M is pleased to announce that Richard M. Frankel, a former Special Agent In-Charge at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has joined the company as Vice President of Investigations.

A skilled professional in complex investigations, asset recovery, cyber security and crisis management, Mr. Frankel is a recognized expert on terrorism, criminal and intelligence matters and investigations into complex, coordinated attacks. During his tenure with the FBI, Mr. Frankel oversaw criminal investigations and undercover and tactical operations while leading the organization’s transition to a threat-based, intelligence-led operating posture. Mr. Frankel directed multi-agency initiatives and complex responses to threats against persons and property while developing extensive liaison programs through outreach to the public, private, academic and non-profit sectors and community groups.

In addition, Mr. Frankel served as the Associate Director of National Intelligence and Senior FBI Representative to the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where he was responsible for overseeing and managing domestic intelligence relationships. He liaised with external entities and advised on all issues related to the relationship between the intelligence community and its domestic partners. In this role, Mr. Frankel worked to increase interaction and cooperation between the law enforcement community and the greater intelligence community as it related to identifying and working against cyber threats.

A graduate of Ithaca College and Quinnipiac Law School, his government service began as Assistant District Attorney for Suffolk County, New York.
