On Wednesday, February 12, 2020, Meryl Lutsky, Chief Compliance Officer and Managing Director of Investigations at T&M and Board Co-Chair of the New York Chapter of ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists), will moderate a presentation and panel discussion entitled "Empowering Together: Women in AML Leadership" sponsored by McKinsey & Company and hosted by The Center for Professional Accounting Practices at Fordham University.
The event will focus on the social barriers women face in their careers and how they are underrepresented in the workforce. In order to pave the path forward, greater understanding is needed as to what those barriers are and why they exist. Companies will benefit from guidance as to how they can foster diversity, inclusion and equity in the workplace.
The panel will discuss a recent study focused on women in the AML (anti-money laundering) field and the impact of mentoring relationships for women seeking career advancement while safeguarding against discrimination.
